I couldn't help myself, I needed to squeeze in one last homemade gift before leaving for Portland! hahaha..

Oh, and this is one of the finished hot cocoa gift baskets-

A big bag of hot cocoa mix, some candycanes, two snowflake mugs, a little baggie of raspberry snowballs, the orange chocolate dessert sauce and some homemade coconut toffee (its all wrapped up and in one of the mugs. I didn't have time to photograph it individually!)

I hope my family people like it!

...Bleh. I hate posts like this. I normally love taking photos of glass jars and bottles (I think I've mentioned my obsession with them a few times!) but I just don't feel like I can do justice to these projects in a photo. They're more about the label and ingredients than the bottling, so I included a copy of the labels on my recipe blog! See! I made it super easy! (not to mention, it takes less than 20 minutes for any one of these projects, and they're actually good!

Yeah.

I know, not nearly as crazy as the bacon chocolate chip cookies. Everyone knows chocolate and orange taste good together, and I didn't feel like sticking it to the man again.

I did however feel like starting my Christmas gifts. I'm giving Dark chocolate orange sauce as part of a Christmas gift basket for some of my family members. I'm going to pair it with some hot cocoa mix and homemade marshmallows, otherwise it would seem a bit silly to give someone JUST a bottle of chocolate sauce.

...Just like it would seem silly to photograph JUST a bottle of chocolate sauce. This is why I made the cupcakes. They're just a visual aid.

A tasty, tasty visual aid.

So I made vanilla mint cupcakes today. They taste JUST like peppermint ice cream, its amazing.

Of course, these ones are bite sized, so that piggie is about the size of a quarter and was a little bit difficult to make, but aren't tiny little farm animals just adorable?
